Engadget managed to get there hands on a test kit Xbox 360 at a Microsoft Press conference. Theres a few pics and bit of information about the console. From all accounts it sounds like Microsoft might have a winner here. Now just hurry up with the Aussie release date would ya.

Check out the pretty funky looking Xbox 360 ad thats on TV sets in Japan. Microsoft is really going after that Japanese market. Time will tell to see if its a good move or not.

Of course being at the bottom of the world really does suck. Seems that Australia will be seeing the Xbox 360 “sometime” in 2006. This is really dissapointing because I really wanted to get into the next gen gaming before Christmas.
