WoW is coming to the Wii (WOW-WHEE!!!!!)

One of the biggest annoucements of this upcoming E3 has broken early via a close soure of mine at Nintendo, which i confirmed with a not so close friend who is a developer inside Blizzard. Actually all he would says is “Who told you?” there was no sarcasm in his voice on the call maybe just a hint of stress.

My proof? Not much just the box art.

This is absoulutly amazing news. Whats more amazing? Blizzard and Nintendo have had all the major gaming press keep it a secret, they have actually known about it for a month. Expect to see this to be confirmed day 1 of E3.

I dont have any information on if the Wii controller will be used in any special way, but sources do tell me the logical the revolution game will be 100% compatible with the PC/Mac version. Apparently Blizzard has wanted to port the popular MMORPG for ages but Sony and Microsoft want them to change the game to much (mostly improve the graphics) and intergrate with their online services in such a way that would have broken the desktop compatitablity. The absolute last detail i have is it will be a launch title. As to whether Blizzard will give us all Burning Wii (Burning Crusade) i dont know.

No worldwide launch for Revolution

Microsoft was a few months behind with theres, Sony has confirmed the worldwide launch and Nintendo. Well they are just being Nintendo. Looks like Japan will be the first country to see the Revolution launch. I think Nintendo have missed the ball a little bit, saying that the worldwide launch doesn’t matter. But ohwell, guess I’ll just have to import this baby.

Nintendo Revolution Will be just as powerful

Putting to rest fears a lot of Nintendo Fan Boys have been having, Jim Merrick has come out and assured everyone that difference will not exist between the Nintendo Revolution and the competition. Only time will tell, but seeing as the Xbox 360 is coming out on 22nd of November in the states, I think Nintendo really needs to put up or shut up.

Revolution Controller Concepts

Here are some very cool looking concepts for the Revolution Remote.

- Nintendo will release what is called a “classic styled” Expansion Controller.

- The Revolution controller can “inserted” into classic styled (shaped) controller.

- Iwata says all you favorite games including virtual console stuff and multi stuff will play fine on Revolution.

IGN has an exclusive hands on with the Nintendo controller, heres some features:

Main Controller Features

* 3D Pointing. Sensors understand up, down, left, right, forward and backward.
* Tilt Sensitive. Controller can be rotated or rolled from side-to-side.
* Buttons Included. Has a trigger on its backside, face buttons, and a D-Pad.
* Multifunctional. Has an expansion port which can be used with different types of controller peripherals. Analog stick with two trigger buttons planned for left hand.
* Wireless. Totally wire-free. Currently there are no details on the max distance, source or power, or otherwise.
* Rumble Built-in. Included as a standard in all the controllers.

Sonic: The Next Generation

Sonic is set to show us his moves on the next generation of consoles in less then a week. Sega is going to be making an announcment regarding the next Sonic game on September 9th, and then will be shown off during the Tokyo Gaming Show. (TGS Woot!) I really can’t wait for the Tokyo Gaming Show now. Any one wanna pay for my airline ticket?

Accorinding to SPOnG.com Nintendo Revolution Controller and surpisingly, the elusive Super Mario 128 will both be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS Woot!), president Satoru Iwata’s will be giving his speech the event, scheduled for September 16th and 18th.

Nintendo Revolution Release Date and Price?

File this in the rumor bag, but Amazon France is claiming a 16 June 2006 release date for the Revolution, and a price point of $299 Euro. This does seem a little high, considering Xbox 360’s price, and the fact that the Nintendo has stated many times that the revolution will cost less and be less advance than its two counterparts.
