Below is a review for Elite Beat Agents from Vidcast 11. Look for the vidcast this came from and a FF12 review in the next few days. Unfortunately the FF12 review is not the greatest video or audio quality but its still a great look at the game.

Metroid Hunters Multiplayer only 4 players online

Lets hope its not true, but according to the NintendoWiFi website, Metroid Hunters will only be 4 players online.

Link wirelessly with up to three friends, select from a series of action-packed arenas, and compete in different game types, including Deathmatch and King of the Hill. Choose Samus or any of six other bounty Hunters and discover who’s the best hunter in the galaxy.

This sucks, I was really hoping Nintendo would go all out with Metroid Hunters online. Lets just hope it was a miss print, yeah it must be a miss print, please be a miss print.

Mario Kart DS Out In Australia

Nintendo WiFi in Australia

Yah, its happening, Australia hasn’t been left out. www.nintendowifi.com.au will soon be going live with a list of the 26 wireless hotspots across Australia, places include Electronics Boutique, Myer and Dick Smith Powerhouse stores. Although 26 isn’t that many, its better than nothing. Also for those people without Wifi at home, you can order the Nintendo Wifi dongle from the website for $49.95. Michael and I will talk more about this in tonights podcast.

New Supre Mario DS Scans

I have to say it, I’m really looking forward to this game. Super Mario Bros 3 is nearly my favorite game of all time, so when Nintendo announced Super Mario DS I was more than excited. Since then there hasn’t been much news, but now Jeux France has got a few scans from the famous Famistu magazine.

Nintendo Wi-Fi Will be revealed on 7th November

Well here’s some good news for the DS. A posting in the official Nintendo Forum has stated that November 7th will be the day that all our questions will be answered. Just in time for Mario Kart. Really looking forward to some online gaming with my DS. Ofcourse being in Australia, we will have to wait until the 8th to find out any details.

Burnout Legends DS Video

I’m not sure how I am going to be able to play this version of Legends after having so much fun with the PSP version. But if you don’t own a PSP and just have a DS, then this game is looking pretty good. Not that much is really known about the game, but I suspect it will just be a toned down version of its PSP’s brother.

Nintendo DS Price Drop in Europe

Well it had happen soon, and now that Nintendogs is finally coming out in Europe, the DS has dropped its price to £89.99/€129.99. Great news for our european friends. And with Nintendogs coming out October 7th, what is your excuse for not having a DS?

Nintendo DS now $179 is Australia

Just like the US before it, Nintendo is going to be dropping the price of the DS just in time for Nintendogs. The price will be $179, and this will happen on September 22nd. Another intresting thing from the Article is that is states that Mario Kart DS will be making a November release date, which will be very cool.

Tony Hawk DS

New name, new graphics, new system same Hawk. By now everyone who has ever owned a console in the last 5 years has played a Tony Hawk game (and if you haven’t go buy one now.) But never has a Tony Hawk game been like this. First the name, Tony Hawk American Sk8land! Second, cell shaded graphics. Just look at the pics and be impressed. And now the DS is showing us why it was invented. The microphone will be used to record voice samples played during a bail, special move or leap. Touch screen controls allow special moves to be pulled off with ease once your special meter is full. You will also be able to use your stylus in the Create-A-Park mode, which will come in very handy. And then ofcourse theres wi-fi multiplayer across the net. I really can’t wait for this game and with a release date of early November it is looking mighty sweet.

Nintendogs, the cuty cuddly game from Nintendo, has been selling like hot cakes. In it first week it has sold 250,000 copies in the US. Which could have been more if Nintendo had more stock. Great to see the DS with some top class games.

Teaser Website for Resident Evil DS

Only a day afert being confirmed as a title for the Nintendo DS, Capcom has opened a teaser site for the Japanese version of the game. The graphics are looking pretty good at the moment, and if you have ever played Resident Evil, you will know how helpful that map is going to be. Still interested in how they are going to use the touch screen in the game. Remember Touching is Good.

Meetro, Instant Messaging for PSP and DS

Meetro, a Chicago based software company, is planning on producing an Instant Messaging program called Meetro. But this isn’t just any Instant Messaging program, “Meetro is the new dynamic way to meet people local to you.” Wendell Davis III exclaims, “Meetro makes finding people within walking distance a breeze — perhaps even a summer breeze.” It will allow users to have their picture and taglines, as well as have AOL AIM, and ICQ support (with plans of MSN, Yahoo and Jabber soon.)

The only problem is, that it won’t out until 2006.

Two new colours for the Nintendo DS

Nintendo DS now $129 is the US

The DS has been cut by $20 in US, starting from August 21st. This is just before the release of Nintendogs and Advance Wars. (Michael and I will be speaking about both games we get them next week) The ds is now nearly how the price of the $25o PSP. This is sure to boost Nintendo coming into the busy end of the Gaming calendar.
