No worldwide launch for Revolution

Microsoft was a few months behind with theres, Sony has confirmed the worldwide launch and Nintendo. Well they are just being Nintendo. Looks like Japan will be the first country to see the Revolution launch. I think Nintendo have missed the ball a little bit, saying that the worldwide launch doesn’t matter. But ohwell, guess I’ll just have to import this baby.

We dont know for sure, what’ll happen with the Rev launch, still might get an Aussie release this year, if the Japan release is in say September or something. But it’s pretty likely it’ll probably launch here around March 2007. On the plus side, MS didnt have a ‘worldwide launch’ that included Australia but at least Aus got a better launch with more games, like Oblivion and GRAW for launch. And futhermore their launch had a lot of shortages, and I’m guessing Sony is going to have similar problems, especially with BluRay issues and what not.
Worldwide launch sounds nice, especially for us Aussies, but in the long run, with shortages, and what not waiting a few months later is probably not the worst thing in the world.

I guess I am a bit more excited about the Revolution then I was about the 360. But your right we did get better games. So I don’t know. Hopefully Nintendo will make the Rev region free like the PS3, then it will be deffient import time.
