A new NES?

IGN has got its hands on the new Generation NEX, a consoles which plays your old NES games. IGN loves it, and who can blame them, wireless controls, classic game, and no stupid door. It will play all your old NES and Famicom games, oh and its only $59.95. Retro baby.

Yeah, I was excited about this months ago. I had this on backorder with lik-sang about 2 months ago. They’ve dropped it from thier listings based on poor reviews.

    See:

Most concerning is from the wiki:
patrons of the NES Dev forums have demonstrated that the NEX system incorrectly wires the cartridge port in a way that could potentially damage NES carts played in the system, as well as the system itself

Yeah I do remember ready about it, but IGN seemed to like it a lot, but who cares seeing as the revolution will be coming out next year :)

Does anyones NEX support american 4player adapters for famicom games. My 4 score doesn’t seem to work for player 3 and 4 for various technos games.
