GTA 4 Completely Rebuilt
In the latest issue of PSM. The PSM crew got to speak to Rockstar about there work on the PS3, here is what they said regarding GTA 4.
Rockstar North is creating a specialized game engine for PS3 that will bring GTA 4 to life to a degree that the PS2 games could only hint at. Specifically, they’re going to be using the high data transfer bandwidth of the Cell CPU, RSX GPU, and Blu-ray Disc to use several streams of game info simultaneously. The game’s city- unfortunately yet to be even hinted at- will still be free roaming and seamless, but broken down into smaller, more detailed areas at the engine level, into which the game designers are going to be able to pour more textures, more object variety, and tons of details (such as discarded soda cans with their own physics), just for starters. The goal is a city that’s less repetitive and where everything - and everyone- looks and acts more like they would in the real world on every level.

Hello, I can’t wait for GTA 4!!
I don’t know if anyone can ask rockstar to do this but I would really like it if there were proper waves where people surfed on and maybe you can even surf on!
Another thing, pls ask R* if they can bring the planes from Vice City and Liberty City that fly around and land at airports and improve that by adding extra features, like people getting on and off of the plane like with the busses.

gta4’s going to be awesome and after the likes of san andreas i would be dissapointed with anything less than spectacular for the ps3
should be a new map and bigger than san andreas that would be so coooooooool

la verdad me gustaria ke el gta4 fuera mas exitante ke vuele aviones helicopteros y ke el juego tenga como para viajar a differentes paises como buzear nadar ect

im way excited about GTA 4, and how good its gonna look graphic wise. I just hope they dont put it in London like i heard they will. I got nothing against ppl from london, but i just think i’d be to much like “The Getaway” or sumthing.
