Rockstars Bully Delayed
Bully, Rockstars new action game has been delayed from November release to Feb 06 release date. Rockstar has stated that this is not because of protests but rather development concerns. They feel thay the need more time to develop the game. Rockstar’s “Bully” Web site describes the game as follows: “As a troublesome schoolboy, you’ll laugh and cringe as you stand up to bullies, get picked on by teachers, play pranks on malicious kids, win or lose the girl, and ultimately learn to navigate the obstacles of the fictitious reform school Bullworth Academy.”

You must be the most gullible person ever born. You believe Bully was pulled for the “creative process” and not because of the burgeoning protest. Take-Two is the company that said it did not put Hot Coffee into GTA: SA, that a modder did it. Duh.

Technically, for us to be gullible, we would have to have state a belief one way or another on the topic and not simple report what the companies website states. Then again, you might not have been referring to the people who wrote it but rather people who read it and believe it. I am interested in whatever news you do have on the game Bully, as your references to the game being ‘pulled’ seems to infer that they have stopped development, instead of adding time to the development cycle, which our post infers. Now I find the subject of violence in video games an interesting one, if someone is deranged enough to act out acts of violence they have seen in a movie/video game, then I have one question. What the hell are they doing unsupervised in our society/ or anybody else’s? Jack you obviously have some success with your GTA:SA campaign, what difference does the 18+ rating make to the 17+ rating? I am not sure if you are aware but Australia has no 18+ rating for video games, so after hot coffee was found the game was banned in Australia, do you think America should not have games for adults? Just interested.

this is bull shit i think tht u should be able to play wht ever game u want to u should be able to have any games on the shelf tht u want like ever sence i seen bully i wanted to play it and they always movie the date back so all tall need to shut the fuck up….. and let rockstar put out wht games they want and it would be a chance for kids bein bullied on to see wht it feels like……… and its not like any1 will commit suicide over the game so if rockstar want to send me a copy then leave a message above

To all the campaigners who wish to abolish ‘Bully’ you all need to do some more of your ‘so-called’ research. All games and movies have specific age limits (that are clearly specified on the packaging) based on what age groups are legally allowed to play the game. One protest by most campaigners is that kids will still play these games. Well mister uppity-arse politician your laws specify that if a juvenile plays a game out of their age limit (and of course by campaigners logic get mind warped) then it is negligence of the parents or guardians and this goes back to being the campaigners fault for not keeping society in the know.

Man this is so stupid I haven’t heard anything about “columbine simulator” and I don’t see bullies running around with AK’s trying to get out of school before the police arrive and then go to rendovous point to commit suicied while taping everything. Now that I think about it if these things are so real how come battle Vietnam games don’t get bad ratings I mean I buy the outfit for xbox360 and it’s rated M I mean WTF really it envolves people dying but is based loosely on the Axis Allies war and it gets a mature rating because you kill and burn natzis (communists only like natzis anyways). But real war strategy games like battlefield Vietnam and I am shure other war games suddenly are rated teen. I bet that the rating department looks over the fact that IT IS SUPER REAL! People protest about how real this game is with its special graphics and schoolhouse setting. But clearly the fact that when in war games where you can sign in the army and probably start shooting foreigners minus theres no retry. WHICH FOR THE ASSES AT THE RATING DEPARTMENT IN MY OPINION IS ABOUT AS REALY AS ANY GAMES HAVE GOTTEN!!! I mean with Iraq there could maybe already be one (im not checking) battlefield Iraq rated T for teen. For those of you who have read all of this I will get to the point. With those stupid protesters whining about games like this in the hands of children but suddenly Battlefield Vietnam is good for teens but I see no complaints. Also theres no indication to what you do in the bully game envolves being bullied or being top bully.
